The work day can be a grind, so every now and then it’s okay to unwind with a drink. If it’s wine you’re after, you don’t need to be a sommelier to find a good glass. Just take a look here for some of the best places in Palm Beach, Florida to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

Fern Street Wine Bar & Kitchen

Located at 501 Fern Street, this quaint little restaurant is one of the not-so-hidden gems of West Palm Beach. Fern Street Wine Bar & Kitchen has a well thought out menu. But the folks at Fern Street didn’t ignore the wine list when they created the concept.

Their wine list includes over thirty wines by the glass, and over thirty more by the bottle. If you can’t find a wine you like at Fern Street, you don’t like wine.

White lovers will enjoy the crisp, mineral-rich Reserve Durand Sancerre, or the grassy, citrus liveliness of the Little Sheep Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. The effervescent Calazul Albarino from Spain is the perfect white to enjoy on their patio.

Chardonnays from France and California, white Bordeaux, Pinot Griggio from Italy, and German Rieslings are all there for the tasting.

Red lovers will enjoy a feisty Rioja from Spain, or a silky smooth and sexy Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley. A Cotes du Rhone from Domain Pere Caboche will go down easy. If you like softer Italian wine, try the Montepulciano, but they also have two big Super Tuscans by the glass.

Oak Bistro & Wine Bar

Located down the road in Royal Palm Beach, Oak Bistro & Wine Bar is a great place to meet after work. They have Charcuterie and Cheese boards perfect for noshing while sipping wine.

They have a great happy hour as well. Starting at 4:00 p.m. you can get $1 off all craft beers and 5 oz wine pours. They also offer $3 off all 8 oz wine pours. Come in on Thursdays and get $10 off any bottle of wine on the list.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant

This Palm Beach Gardens restaurant may be part of a chain, but they have a great wine program. All of the wines found on their menu are made by Cooper’s Hawk Winery. It’s safe to say that with 75 awards and counting, the Cooper’s Hawk Winery knows how to make wine.

This upscale casual environment is perfect for relaxing after a long day. You can enjoy a glass of your favorite wine, and some great food with friends. If adventure is what you’re seeking, try one of their wine flights. They have a Master’s Flight put together by Master Sommelier Emily Wines.

They also have a sparkling, a red, a white, and a Lux flight featuring their luxury brand wines. Or you can create your own flight. You get four 3 oz glasses of wine starting at $14.99.

The next time you need a glass of wine after work, look no further. One of these great places is sure to have the taste you crave.
