Legacy Model Spotlight: McLaren P1™ GTR Overview

The McLaren P1™ began production in 2013, with only 375 models produced. Fifty-eight of those were models consisting of its track-optimized variant, the McLaren P1™ GTR, only 5 of which were toned down enough to be legal to drive on Jupiter streets. The P1™ GTR was considered to be a spiritual successor to the 1995 F1 GTR, which won the Le Mans in 24 hours. Production ceased in 2015. During production, the McLaren P1™ GTR price cost roughly $3.1 million.
