McLaren Introduces “Platinum Jubilee” Paint Color to Honor Queen Elizabeth II
To celebrate the 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II, McLaren is introducing a new paint color, the McLaren “Platinum Jubilee.” This tone matches the one-off color of the badge McLaren Special Operations designed for a single McLaren Artura. In addition to celebrating 7 decades of leadership under Queen Elizabeth II, the McLaren Platinum Jubilee tone also commemorates the 18th anniversary of the Queen’s opening of the McLaren Technology Center, McLaren’s global headquarters, in Woking, Surrey.
Take a moment to learn about this new McLaren paint color, as well as the McLaren Artura. Then, fill out a pre-approval and contact McLaren Palm Beach to reserve your Artura ahead of the July 2022 McLaren Artura release date in West Palm Beach!
McLaren Platinum Jubilee Tone Design
McLaren’s in-house bespoke division, McLaren Special Operations, collaborated with Akzo Nobel. Akzo Nobel, McLaren’s advanced coating partner, painstakingly designed the McLaren Platinum Jubilee tone by studying silver pigments under countless levels of light. After eight days of durability and tone testing, the perfect silver McLaren paint color pigment was developed and displayed on a one-off Artura. Fortunately, this color will be available to Wellington drivers and beyond for years to come, including the upcoming 2022 McLaren Artura!
McLaren Artura Highlights
The McLaren Artura will be available in the McLaren Platinum Jubilee tone. This hybrid plug-in hypercar will offer you 671 hp, 527 lb-ft of torque, a top speed of 205 MPH, and a 0-62 MPH time of just 3 seconds. What’s more, the 2022 McLaren Artura achieves this incredible performance with 39 MPGe, thanks to twin electrically actuated turbochargers, and an Axial Flux motor. While it still features a V6 engine, the Artura also comes equipped with a 7.4 kWH battery that provides Boca Raton drivers with 19 miles of exclusively electric range. Needless to say, the Artura is a game changer in hypercar performance.
